Matter Of Form partners with Knight Frank to regenerate the internal process & design ethos of one of the world’s largest global property consultancies

Matter Of Form have partnered with Knight Frank to build an in-house creative studio for the world-leading property consultancy. 

Knight Frank, founded in London in 1896, is one of the world’s largest global property consultancies. Together with its New York affiliate, Newmark Knight Frank, the company spans a global network of 500 offices in 60 territories with more than 19,000 employees.  

Knight Frank approached Matter Of Form to set up and manage an internal creative studio at its London head office that would enable them to transition from a roster of hundreds of agencies to a centralised in-house team. The solution needed to deliver multichannel projects and campaigns for digital, OOH and experiential at high velocity, without compromising on the exceptional quality that Knight Frank is known for.

MOF needed to take an authoritative and direct project management approach to establish clear priorities based on objective criteria. We quickly defined creative principles that would help manage subjective feedback across the partnership and create cohesive output across the business. Once seconded into the business, we began an internal hiring programme, inspiring cultural momentum for the marketing team and entirely reimagining the design process for the business.

MOF built an in-house creative studio from the ground up in three months, equipping the team with the processes and skills to produce exceptional design work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality. Since its launch in September 2019, design output has doubled.
