Jeff has over 25 years of experience in streetwear design and another decade in street culture. Hailing from New Jersey originally, Jeff never planned to start his own brand. But in 1997, he walked out of a boutique in NYC with a 12-piece order of a silkscreen t-shirt design he’d printed at Parsons. Since then STAPLE has grown from strength to strength, and Jeff himself rapidly became a renowned figure and creative visionary in fashion and beyond, hosting his own podcast ‘Business of Hype’ and more recently publishing his book – Jeff Staple: Not Just Sneakers. 

Throughout the episode, What The Luxe host & MOF CEO Anant Sharma – who is joined by guest host and the studio’s resident sneakerhead Amit Patel, Creative Director of Experience Haus – get to know Jeff’s story; both his personal one and the tale of New York’s hiphop culture of the 80s and 90s.
